Dr Antonis Koyzis
Dr Koyzis (F/T) is Professor of Leadership and Management and teaches in the MSc Business Management. Dr Koyzis studied at the University of Illinois – Chicago, BA Economics and Political Science, University of Iowa, MA International Development, University of Iowa and PhD Leadership and Policy. Professor (full professor 20000) at the University of Wisconsin 1990-2004 , Professor and Dean of Graduate School Wayne State Nebraska University (2004-2007) Professor and Founding Dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies, Longwood University of Virginia and Rector at West Liberty-West Virginia University (2009-20013) Taught in the following disciplines : Organizational Behavior, Project Management, Operations Management, Strategic Management, University Management and Leadership Organizational Development and Human Resource Development etc.  Involved in numerous funded projects funded by the US Dept of Education, Several EPEAK projects in Greece with conjunction with the University of Thessaly in Volos among others. Over 40 journal articles in international journals.
Demetris Philippides
Demetris (P/T) has gained a BSc in Business Management and Administration from Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece and Msc in International Business Management from the University of Surrey. He is a UK ACCA (Professional Degree). His work experience includes KPMC (senior auditor) and financial director of O.SY.PA. His academic experience involves teaching BA in Accounting and Finance, MSc in Business Management and modules for ACCA Level 8 Diploma for the last three years.
Eftychia Pitsillou
Eftychia’s (F/T) qualifications include a Diploma in Accounting and Finance, a BA Accounting and Finance (Essex), MSc International Finance and Capital Markets (Brighton 2005). Her professional experience includes working with Ernst&Young as a tax consultant. Her academic expertise focuses on Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting. Her research interest involves the role of the Central Bank its decisions and effects for the economy.
Antonis Antoniades
Antonis (P/T) gained an MBA and MSc Mechanical Engineering. He has significant experience in the Automotive Industries working as European Business Development Manager. His teaching experience includes Project Management, Meeting Customer Needs and other relative subjects. Antonis’s professional expertise constitute his classes ideal for learning and practice.
Dr Marios Ioannou
Marios (F/T) concluded his PhD (2012) in Mathematics Education at the University of East Anglia from where he also graduated with a Bachelor and a Masters in Pure Mathematics. Marios has already published 20 peer reviewed articles within the field of Mathematics Education. He was the course leader of the MA in Education UWE, Bristol-Alexander College for four years and is currently the course leader of the BA Business Management. He has received scholarships from the University of East Anglia (2009) and the Hadjioannou Foundation (2008). He has teaching experience in the fields of Business Management, Research Methods, Education, Mathematics and Statistics.
Anna Chrysaphi
Anna (F/T) graduated from Philips College Nicosia with a BA Business Administration and obtained an MSc in Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Stirling, Scotland. Furthermore, she is a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma graduate. She is the course leader of the BSc Business Administration and Finance. She contributed in two consecutive (2015-16) research studies of the Alexander Research Centre focusing on Micro and Small Enterprises and Technology. Her professional experience includes working with Pandora/Ogilvy&Mather advertising agency. Her research interests include marketing for SMEs in an era of financial crisis.
Nikolas Defteras
Nikolas (P/T) earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a Minor in Political Science and his MA Ideology and Discourse Analysis from ESSEX University. He is a PhD Candidate in Media Studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Nikolas speaks four languages. He has taught several subjects among the Ethics and Philosophy and contributed to research projects.
Dr Marshall Hughes
Dr Marshal (F/T) earned a Certificate in Education, Leeds University Institute of Education, 1975 (with distinction)and following that a Bachelor of Education Honours Degree, Leeds University 1976 (Class 2: Div.1). Continued with a Certificate in Technology, Open University, 1982 (PET271) and a PhD Doctor of Education Degree, California Coast University 2001 (GPA 4) ESL IN THE MAINSTREAM Teacher Development Certification South Australian Department of Education. He has more than forty years of experience in teaching for secondary and tertiary education Organizations internationally His research interests include Technology in Education. He is the author of many publications in the field.
Angela Kyriakou
Angela Kyriakou (F/T) studied English Language and Literature (BA) at the University of Cyprus and Graphic Design (BA) at Intercollege. She followed postgraduate studies in Aesthetics & Sciences of Art (MA) at the University of Paris-Sorbonne 1, and Fine Art (MFA) at Brighton University. She then studied Philosophy of Art (MPhil) at Sussex University. She has been a full-time lecturer in Fine Art at Alexander College since 2008 and she is also a practicing artist. She is working with conceptual 2D art, especially painting and drawing, and she is concerned with issues relating to language and meaning. She has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally and some of her work is in private and public collections in Cyprus and abroad. Her research interests focus on analytic philosophy of art, understanding and perception of art, and art as practice. She has published poetry translations, and currently she is working on a Monograph and as a Translation Editor of a book on Wittgensteinian studies.
Nicodemos Loizou
Nicodemos Loizou (FT) is the Dean of Academic Affairs at Alexander College. He studied Landscape Architecture BSLA (USA) and received a PGDip and MSc in Civil Engineering from the UK. He also received MSc in Business Management from the UK. He has additional experience in the private sector.  He is a member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (E.T.E.K.), member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), the Landscape Institute UK and he is also member of the European Federation of Landscape Architects (E.F.L.A.). Over the years Nicodemos has developed various managerial skills in order to better plan strategies in order to improve the quality of services as well as to increase productivity and prospective client market. Furthermore, the demanding environment of doing business with organizations from abroad had a positive impact towards cultural awareness in a competitive market. Nicodemos is in charge of Academic Affairs with University of the West of England on behalf of Alexander College. He is also active lecturer on the fields of design and business.
Andreas Ayre
Andreas (F/T) is the course leader of BA Photography and senior lecturer at Alexander College. Studied MSc Advanced Computer Science at Hertfordshire University (UK), and has 30 years of photography experience. Teaching since 1997 on a variety of topics including Information systems, computer science and photography subjects. His research interests concern effectiveness in education, adding value to processes using ICT, and photography as a means of communicating new ideas in a social context.
Panayiotis Voulgaris
Panayiotis (FT) is the course leader of the MA Design course since 2010. Panayiotis studied BTEC H.N.D (Dewsbury College), BA (Hons) Graphic Design at the University of Derby, PGDip in Graphic Design at the University of Derby and MA European Media (EMMA) at the University of Portsmouth. Panayiotis is an active Lecturer since 2002 and a senior academic with a strong background in commercial graphic design and digital media.  Panayiotis has taught various modules and subjects during his academic experience at postgraduate and undergraduate levels. (e.g. typography, corporate identity, packaging, conceptual exploration, personal and final projects, advertising campaigns, web design and other subjects in the Graphic Design field). He has supervised around 150 Personal and Final Graphic Design Projects at undergraduate level and around 45 Final Projects at Masters level.  Panayiotis took park in three graphic design and photography exhibitions in Cyprus. His research moves between corporate identity, editorial design, computer literacy, photography, typography.
Stefanos Christodoulides
Stefanos (F/T) is the course leader of BA (Hons) Interior Design. He studied Interior Design at Queens College, NY and then at ACL and Thames College in London. He has been a member of staff at Alexander College since 2002. He is an active member of ‘The Constructivist Project’, an international group aiming to save and preserve all Constructivist Buildings in Russia, especially the ones that need immediate attention (Melnikov’s House and the Narkomfin Building).
Olga Pavli
Olga (P/T) has a Foundation certificate in Art and Design from Kent Institute of Art and Design, U.K., a Bachelor in Interior Design from Buckinghamshire University, U.K., a Bachelor in Architecture RIBA part I (Royal Institute of British Architects) from Kingston University U.K., a Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture RIBA part II from Kingston University U.K., and a Post Experienced Certificate in Professional Practice in Architecture RIBA part III again from Kingston University U.K. Her experience includes designing and completion a variety of projects in Architectural and Interior Design as well as teaching for Wales University and UWE University of the West of England at Alexander College Larnaca Cyprus, as a Senior lecturer for the Ba Interior Design course and MA course leader for Interior Design course. In 2008 she participated in representing her country, Cyprus, at the Biennale Venice regarding Architecture. She also wrote articles on Architecture and Interior Design.
Pantelis Panteli
Pantelis (F/T) has a BA (hons) Fashion (1996) from the London college of Fashion and an MA in Design from the University of the west of England (2015) both with distinction. He created his own Brand 20 years ago, were he has had numerous shows, taken part in fashion weeks, and various exhibitions. His collections have been sold in the UK, Paris, USA, Greece and Cyprus. Through the years he has collaborated with various Theater organizations, films, music videos and generally TV. His cloths are widely seen on various TV personas, models and singers here in Cyprus and Greece. He has also been commissioned to collaborate with Miss Universe, and miss world international competitions in 2000, 2004, 2006, 2012-2017. He has been course leader of the BA (hons)fashion at Alexander college for the last 5 years.
Marianna Penga
Marianna (F/T) has a BA(hons) Fashion and Textiles from Ravensbourne College(UK) 2002 and an MA in Textile Futures from Central Saint Martins (UAL) 2004. She also has an IPGCE Teaching Diploma from the University of Buckingham (UK) in 2013. She works as a freelance textile/accessories designer since 2004, where she participated in numerous International fairs abroad and locally. Her work has been sold in the UK, Ireland, Paris, Greece, the Netherlands, Africa, the States and Cyprus. Through the years she has been commissioned from various Museum organizations to design as part of their collections. She has been Senior Textile Lecturer BA(hons)fashion at Alexander college for the last 5 years.
Maria Pallecaros
Maria (F/T) has a Post Graduate Diploma in Design Practice, a HND Graphic Design and a National Diploma in Graphic Design. She has taught at Alexander College for over 23 years and is currently the course leader for the BA Graphic Design course. Maria has also worked in Soho, London and Cyprus as a senior graphic designer and illustrator and is still currently active in the industry and has published several design based projects from logos to print and advertising campaigns. A vast proportion of research has been undertaken in the college including lectures, presentations, academic documents and articles. She is currently researching several methodologies including ‘Interactive Print & Inductive Ink’.
Efftihia Toumazides Katchis
Efftihia (F/T) has a Master’s Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Wales, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Central Lancashire as well as a BTEC National Diploma from Barnet College, BTEC HND in Graphic Design from Dewsbury College and a Foundation Diploma in Art & Design from the University of Westminster. She has over 20 years of work experience in various Graphic Design Studios in Nicosia, Cyprus, and in New York, USA.
Alexandros Kyriakides
Alexandros (F/T) has a Bachelor of Fine Arts of the Academy of Brera, Milan, and a Masters of Fine Arts from the Glasgow School of Art (2002). His experience includes teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera (2002-3) and at Public Schools in Cyprus (2009-11). He is a senior lecturer for BA Fine Art & Graphic Design Departments at Alexander College since 2012. Alexandros has participated in more than twenty art exhibitions abroad and has contributions in several Art Catalogues and Periodicals.
Marios Andreou
Marios (F/T) has obtained his LLB (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton and his LLM at the University of London in the field of Cooperate and Commercial Law. He is currently the LLB course Leader on the franchise undergraduate law programme at Alexander College in collaboration with the University of the West of England. He is also a senior lecturer in the field of Criminal Law having also taught Public Law and the Law of Tort.  His experience also includes teaching GCE A Level Law at the American Academy.  His experience further extends to running the LLM Commercial Law Programme as course leader  (2015-17) with UWE. He is also a senior lecturer for the Police on matters of Criminal Law & Procedure.
Dr Maria Ioannou
Maria (P/T) earned her PhD from the University of Exeter on literature and gender studies. She has an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) and an MA in International Studies, together with a BA English and a PhD. Her specialization is constructions of gendered personhood along a number of cultural and historic discourses including law, beauty, economy and family. Maria has publications on nineteenth century gender in literature and culture and has co-edited a collection on female beauty across history for Cambridge Scholars Publishing. Maria taught at the Univ. of Cyprus and elsewhere. She teaches law at the LLB and LLM programmes.
Dr Stavri Kalopsidiotou
Stavri (PT) earned LLB, Queen Mary & Westfield, University of London (2001). LLM, LSE, University of London (2003, PhD in Public International Law, University of Leicester, 2017. She is also a Member of the Cyprus Bar Association, Legal Board of the Republic of Cyprus, 2002 and a Certified of Public International Law/ Hague Academy, 2008.Her experience includes working at the European Parliament following the Foreign Affairs Committee and participating to Special Committees of the Presidency of the Republic on the Cyprus Issue.
Evangelos Evangelou
Evangelos (F/T) obtained his BSc in Computer Science in Essex University and his MSc in Business Management from the University of the West of England. His main focus centres in the field of Information Systems and Security in the Business Environment. He gained professional experience in the field of information systems administration working in the market and he also teaches in the accredited Business Administration and Finance programme of Alexander College. This combination of working and teaching experience, his participation into two research programmes of the Alexander Research Centre, and a student centered orientation can provide students with the appropriate insights during lectures and seminar-labs interaction.
Ioannis Ioannou
Ioannis (PT) earned LLB in Law, LLM in International, Commercial and European Law and is a Senior Lecturer of Law. He teaches International Law, Business Law, Land Law. His research interests include EU Law. Ioannis is a Litigation Lawyer.
Cleopatra Hadjikou
Cleopatra (FT) is the course leader of BA (Hons) Criminology. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Forensic Psychology at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice – CUNY. Upon completion, Cleopatra interned as a research analyst with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Behavioral Science Unit. This research led to multiple publications in various Criminal Justice and Criminology journals in the areas of stalking, suicide-by-cop, serial rape and victimology. Over the years, she has taught a variety of subjects within the discipline, at American Academy Larnaca, Intercollege Larnaca and European University in Nicosia. She has also participated in various seminars, conferences and presentations, both with the FBI as well as at tertiary education institutions.

Yuliya Loppas
Yuliya (F/T) studied English Philology (MA) Zaporozhye State Pedagogical University (Ukraine) English Philology (BA) Ternopil State Pedagogical University (Ukraine). She teaches English Language and Literature, Business English since 2007.

Ismini Chaholiadou
Ismini (P/T) studied BA (Hons) Fine Art (Chelsea College, University of the Arts London) and MA Photography (Nottingham Trent University). She worked as a Freelancer Fashion and Advertising Photographer. She taught for O’ Level and A’ Level IGCSE in Art and Design and teaching to Foundation course in Art and Design. Ismini is a Lecturer at Alexander College, Larnaca (BA Photography). She has participated in several group exhibitions with her photographic work and has also exhibited her work in Fytorio Visual arts Association, Is Not a Gallery, Argo Gallery, Katoi Art space, Mills gallery, in Cyprus. Ismini was selected in 2013 to exhibit her photographic work at Errors Allowed- European and Mediterranean 16th Biennale of Young Artists (Italy, Ancona and at Fabricca Del Vapore (Milano, Italy) in the group exhibition Alternative Nomadi -Mediterranea 16.
