Alexander College is proud to celebrate the achievement of Graphic Design Lecturer Maria Pallecaros-Theoclitou, who has received a Rose Gold Award in the international “Poster For” competition.

The competition invited designers to create posters addressing global issues through the framework of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Maria’s award-winning design, titled “Anatomy of Wellness,” responds to SDG 3: Good Health & Well-being, using visual communication to explore and raise awareness around this important global issue.

As part of this international recognition, “Anatomy of Wellness” will be exhibited on digital screens in Times Square, New York, this September, bringing Maria’s work to one of the world’s most iconic public spaces.

This marks another international achievement for Maria, whose work continues to demonstrate the power of graphic design as a means of communication, awareness and positive social impact.

We are proud of our tutors and their continued achievements, which inspire our students and showcase the talent, creativity and expertise within the Alexander College community.
