Course Insight

Teaching and Learning
The course is taught through a diverse mix of learning environments including lectures, seminars, tutor-led assignments and independent student-led projects plus essential independent study including research, online work and preparation for assessment.
Assessment
You will be assessed through a combination of course work and examinations. Assignments will be varied and will include essays, reports, business plans, applied research projects, presentations plus self-evaluation.
Duration
This MBA programme has a study duration of 18 months over three semesters. The first two semesters of the course are divided into four 8-week terms (T erms A, B, C, D) and the third and final semester is referred to as Term E.
Lectures take place in the evenings. The course structure focuses on no more than three Modules per term. Start dates are subject to confirmation each year but as a general guideline, the first semester usually begins in late September, semester two typically commences in late January and the final Semester starts in May.
Entry Requirements
Candidates must be holders of a recognised 1st cycle-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or a recognised equivalent from a professional body. If you are an international student from a non-UK higher education institution, you will also need to demonstrate English language proficiency, with a combined 6.0 IELTs score or equivalent.
Graduation Requirements
To achieve the MBA you must earn a total of 90 credits by completing all of the core modules (including submission of your completed dissertation at the end of the final semester) and four elective/specialisation modules.
