Tuition Fee Payments

Tuition fees vary depending on the course you wish to apply to. The annual tuition fee for your selected course will also include each year’s registration fee of €1000. Fees are payable before the beginning of each semester however in some cases students may be permitted to pay on a monthly- installment basis if this is deemed appropriate. Additional Expenses

Tuition fees cover all the necessary costs for you to attend classes for the whole year – we will not ask you for any additional fees relating to your tuition but you will need to take into account some other costs, for example, printing your assignments, purchasing of books, design/art materials and stationery, transportation costs to and from the college etc. You will also be required to rent (or buy if you choose to) your graduation gown at the end of your course.

Alumni Discount

If you are a former student, you may be eligible to receive a reduction in fees for the first year of any course you wish to study at Alexander College. Immediate family members of alumni can also take advantage of a reduction in tuition fees. Some conditions apply however, to ensure that you qualify for these discounts, please contact the College Accounts Department at

State Grant

Local students can apply for a student study grant directly from the State and may be eligible to receive up to €3417 depending on certain criteria. The college is not involved in this process and therefore is not accountable however the Student Affairs office can provide you with all of the necessary contacts to make your application. Refunds Policy

If for any reason you find yourself in the position of having to discontinue your studies, you must notify the Academic Registrar who will formally withdraw you from the course. If a student does not inform the College of their decision to leave he/she will be recorded as having failed the course. You can email the Registrar directly at Refunds of tuition fees (excluding registration fee) are subject to the time of withdrawal, the later a student discontinues his/her studies, the smaller the percentage of fees he/she will be able to claim back. All fees can be paid in person at our Accounts Office.
