Policy on Inclusion, Diversity and Non-Discrimination

The policy on inclusion, diversity, and non-discrimination at Alexander College are established based on the mission statements of the College to develop “In an inclusive, multicultural and collegial-friendly learning environment in modern facilities, (where) the faculty and staff build on experience and expertise, to offer support to personal and academic needs” . Our policy is established on the following pillars:

  1. Non-Discrimination: Alexander College ensures that no individual is discriminated against based on origin, belief, gender, or disability. This applies to admissions, employment, holding academic or professional services office, graduation, and access to privileges within the Institute.
  2. Equal Opportunities: Alexander College promotes equality in education and guidance, enabling students with special needs to develop their potential to the maximum. This is achieved through inclusion, participation, and individualized support (see support to students with special needs).
  3. Academic Freedom: Faculty members are granted full freedom of expression in teaching, research, and public forums, provided they adhere to professional ethics and courtesy.
  4. Student Rights: Students are guaranteed free inquiry, expression, and assembly, as well as opportunities to pursue educational goals in a secure environment.
  5. Diversity in Student Associations: Alexander College supports any international student association representing different ethnic groups, fostering cultural exchange and understanding.

Anti-Discrimination in Employment: The College reaffirms its commitment to non-discrimination in employment decisions, ensuring equal consideration for all qualified applicants regardless of race, religion, gender, disability, or other personal attributes.
