Alexander College, together with the Alexander Research Centre, is proud to sponsor for a second consecutive year the outstanding Cyprus RobotHeadz team, as they represent Cyprus at the Asia Pacific Open Championship in Sydney (9–12 July 2026).

Led by Dr. Pericles Cheng, the team has achieved remarkable success, having won the FIRST LEGO League Cyprus Grand Champion Award for three consecutive years (2024–2026). Their achievements also include distinctions such as the Core Values Award and the Robot Design Award, reflecting excellence in innovation, engineering, and teamwork.

The RobotHeadz team continues to demonstrate exceptional creativity and commitment, most recently developing an innovative project inspired by the theme “Unearthed”, combining technology with cultural heritage in a scalable educational game.

Alexander College also proudly offers the BSc in Computer Science with Gaming Development (https://alexander.ac.cy/bsc-computer-science-with-gaming-development-new/ ), supporting the development of future innovators and technology leaders.

We warmly congratulate Dr. Cheng and the RobotHeadz team on their outstanding achievements and wish them every success as they represent Cyprus on the international stage.
