Visit of Professor Maciej Ignacy Marszałek from the University of Siedlce
Professor of Social Sciences Maciej Ignacy Marszałek, a prominent scholar in the field of Security Studies at the University of Siedlce, recently visited Alexander College.
He was welcomed by Professor Metanios Halabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alexander College. During the visit, Prof. Halabi and Prof. Marszałek held discussions on current and future institutional projects. The University of Siedlce, Poland, is a valued partner of Alexander College in promoting academic excellence and research collaboration. Dr. F. Halabi, Dr. A. Chabarekh, and Dr. C. Christodoulides also participated in the meeting.
During his visit, Prof. Marszałek also met with Mr. Menelaos Menelaou, the Head Negotiator of the Greek Cypriot community in the intercommunal talks for the resolution of the Cyprus problem. Mr. Menelaou briefed Prof. Marszałek on the current situation regarding the Cyprus issue and the role of the UN Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus.
