As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Alexander College is proud to organize “Pink for a Purpose”, a Breast Cancer Awareness Event dedicated to promoting education, prevention, and community support for those affected by breast cancer. This special initiative aims to raise awareness about early detection, empower individuals with vital knowledge, and foster solidarity within our community.

The event will feature representatives from Europa Donna Cyprus, the leading European breast cancer advocacy group, which works tirelessly to promote awareness, improve breast cancer care, and support patients and survivors across Europe. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the organization’s mission, ongoing initiatives, and resources available to women and families facing breast cancer.

In addition, Mrs. Evanthia Savva, Vice Mayor of Aradippou and breast cancer survivor, will share her personal journey, offering an inspiring message of hope, resilience, and the power of community support. Her story will highlight the importance of early detection, regular screening, and the strength that comes from facing challenges with courage.

“Pink for a Purpose” promises to be an enlightening and uplifting event, bringing together students, faculty, and community members to celebrate life, raise awareness, and make a meaningful difference in the fight against breast cancer.
