Dr Marios Ioannou, course leader of the MA Education program at Alexander College/University of the West of England has participated to the 10th Congress of the European Society for Research in Mathematics Education that was hosted by the Institute of Education, Dublin City University at Croke Park from 1st to 5th February, 2017.

Some 800 research academics from all over European Universities presented their research contributions to the respective field. Dr Ioannou presented his research article on the issue of «Investigating the discursive shift in the learning of Group Theory: Analysis of some interdiscursive commognitive conflicts».

CERME 10 promotes the development of mathematics education through intellectual communication and cooperation in the context of thematic working groups, plenaries, poster sessions and congenial interactions.

Συμμετοχή στο πλέον σημαντικό συνέδριο της Μαθηματικής Εκπαίδευσης

Ο επικεφαλής καθηγητής του κλάδου MA Education του Alexander College/University of the West of England Δρ Μάριος Ιωάννου συμμετείχε στο 10ο Συνέδριο της Ευρωπαϊκής Κοινότητας για την Έρευνα στην Μαθηματική Εκπαίδευση (CERME 10) που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Εκπαιδευτικό Ινστιτούτο του Πανεπιστημίου της Πόλης του Δουβλίνου στις 1-5 Φεβρουαρίου 2017. Στο συνέδριο συμμετείχαν πάνω από 800 ακαδημαϊκοί και ερευνητές στο σχετικό αντικείμενο. Ο Δρ Ιωάννου παρουσίασε την έρευνα του με τίτλο «Investigating the discursive shift in the learning of Group Theory: Analysis of some interdiscursive commognitive conflicts».

Το CERME 10  προωθεί την ανάπτυξη της μαθηματικής παιδείας μέσα από την επικοινωνία και συνεργασία στο διανοητικό επίπεδο, στα πλαίσια θεματικών ομάδων εργασίας, συζητήσεων ειδικών, επιστημονικών ανακοινώσεων και διαδραστικών συζητήσεων.
